a dreamer: an ontraport brand campaign

The objective was to create a fresh new take on the Ontraport brand — something quirky, something weird — resulting in three visually enticing YouTube ads that stop people in their tracks to beg the question, “what the heck is Ontraport?”. The brand awareness campaign highlighted the difficult realities of being a solo entrepreneur and feeling like you’re drowning. Ontraport can be your lifeline, so you can get back to doing what you love.

As a lead on this project, I brainstormed thoroughly to establish the look and feel we wanted for these videos, as well as spent three days out in the Barstow desert art directing the video shoot/photoshoots with an awesome team and our hired actress. I created mood boards for the wardrobe, framing of shots, color grading, title cards, and more, as well as created posts for our social media accounts (ie. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) that matched the overall theme and essence of these videos. I also created landing pages that catered to each video individually, so each visitor would have a unique experience depending on the video ad they clicked on. I was heavily inspired by Wes Anderson and jumped on the opportunity to follow current trends, as his new movie Asteroid City was set to release that summer.
